Transit Systems typically control, monitor, and collect data used for multiple types of equipment. Equipment monitored by a transit control center may include a large number of functions, such as vehicle control, scheduling, power control, ventilation control, pump monitoring, intrusion detection, CCTV, and data networks.
This course is designed for those who design, install or maintain fiber optic systems in commercial buildings and other facilities. It identifies you as an installer who demonstrates a practical knowledge of fiber optic theory, codes, standards and practices widely accepted in commercial buildings and customer-owned outside environments (campus).
Students must pass exam to be certified.

Certified Fiber Installer is designed for new or experienced personnel seeking a deeper understanding of the installation of fiber optic cabling systems. This course is excellent for anyone involved in the construction, education, commercial, industrial, or utility markets and anyone who designs, installs, maintains, or tests fiber optic cabling systems.
