The Fiber School offers students the most comprehensive training that helps them build technical solutions and stay competitive today and in the future. The Fiber School has trained and certified thousands of students and coordinated specialized training throughout the United States and the world: Fortune 500, government, military and in many locations around the world.  Our courses have been developed and refined over the years to ensure that the material presented is current, relevant and does not waste your training dollars.  Our courses consist of lecture, video and ample time for “hands-on” labs and one-on-one time with the instructor.  For your convenience, a number of our courses have the material available online for review when you need it.

The Fiber School uses the latest equipment from the best manufacturers.  This provides students with valuable experience on the current equipment and how to use it effectively.  Our instructors have years of experience including fieldwork and in the classroom.  Our course can be held at our facility, at your location or in numerous locations around the world.  Our goal is to ensure that you learn what you need to make your job easier and allow students to become more productive.

1995 – FiberOptic.com is founded as a used fiber equipment dealer

1999 – FiberOptic.com becomes a leading online supplier of fiber optic equipment

2001 – FiberOptic.com becomes authorized distributor for AFL, EXFO, JDSU, NetTest

2004 – FiberOptic.com creates thefiberschool.com and becomes an authorized ETA training facility

2005 – FiberOptic.com creates fiber installer course approved by ETA

2007 – FiberOptic.com creates fiber outside plant course approved by ETA

2008 – FiberOptic.com created master technician course approved by ETA

2009 – FiberOptic.com announces on-line training

2010 – FiberOptic.com develops a custom course for IBEW for windmill installations

2011 – FiberOptic.com introduces a certificate that demonstrates our benchmark of professionalism

2012 – FiberOptic.com adds Ethernet courses to its training program

2013 – FiberOptic.com adds a variety of courses to the training program, including an entire line of Juniper networks courses, radio frequency courses and network asset management courses

2014 – FiberOptic.com expands scheduled regional United States locations to include:

2018 – FiberOptic.com upgrades website, making it mobile-friendly and added features.

2019 – FiberOptic.com moves its corporate headquarters from Breinigsville to Quakertown.
