This fiber optics training course is designed for those who specify, design, install, construct or maintain aerial Optical Power Ground wire systems in investor owned, Electric Power Utilities, REAs, Co-operatives, and municipal power networks. Students will learn about latest construction methods and procedures associated with OPGW fiber optic technology including cable and equipment, as well as how to splicing, termination, test, and troubleshooting fiber optic based utility networks

Upon successful completion of this instructor led lectures, Hands-on Labs, and exams, the student can achieve the TFS CMP-OPGW Certification.

The Construction Methods and Procedures – Optic Power Ground Wire fiber optics training will provide the student with the necessary knowledge and skills to:
