Sam Mehanna

Sam’s career in the data and telecommunications industry spans over 35 years. As a supervisor with international telecom consulting firms, he has done everything from the design and implementation of multimillion-dollar projects, specializing in Outside Plant Network Design and the Rehabilitation of existing Outside Plant Networks, to planning and design of FTTX Projects such as Fiber to the Cabinet (FTTC), or Fiber to the Home (FTTH). Now focusing on instruction, Sam is a Certified Training Instructor for Fiber Installation and Testing, as well as for Outside Plant Network Design.

In 2021 Sam joined the team at The Fiber School.  Sam brings years of expertise to the classroom and provides students with real-world hands-on skills to go along with the theory and standards.  Sam is based in Lebanon and provides instruction for many of our classes in the Middle east, and occasionally travels back to the United States.  The Fiber School is honored to have Sam as one of our valued instructors.
