Jacob Robinson

Jacob Robinson began working as a fiber optic technician for the Adtell group of companies in 2022. During his time with Adtell Jacob has been conducting advanced testing known as “Fiber Characterization” for enterprise companies such Verizon, Amazon, and Fujitsu.

In this role, Jacob has obtained vast experience in OTDR testing, analysis, and reporting.  Many of these projects called for remediation including fiber splicing, connector replacement and installation of new fiber routes.

Today, Jacob continues his role as an Adtell field technician and in 2023 Jacob attended The Fiber School “Train the Trainer” program where he has completed the training to become a certified Fiber Optic instructor.  Jacob has also been approved by the Electronics Technicians Association (ETA) as an authorized fiber optic installer.  Jacob is prepared to provide training to the next generation of fiber optic technicians and share his experience from working in the field.
