Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in telecommunications and network installation, with a strong understanding of cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic installations, as well as low voltage applications. As a Cable Installer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality installation services for their communication systems.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair various types of cabling systems, including copper, fiber optic, and Ethernet cables.
Perform fiber splicing and copper termination, ensuring proper connectivity for network installations.
Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cable installations, both copper and fiber.
Utilize tools such as voltmeters and cable testers to verify cable performance and ensure optimal signal quality.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding installation processes and timelines.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician or similar role in telecommunications or cable installation.
Strong knowledge of cabling techniques, including copper and fiber installation, network installation, and low voltage systems.
Familiarity with fiber splicing methods, copper termination, and relevant equipment.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
