Precision Fiber Splicing, LLC, a locally owned and operated company, is seeking a full-time Fiber Splicer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality fiber optic construction and splicing services throughout the area.
Position Overview:
The Fiber Splicer will be responsible for the termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables in aerial, underground, and indoor environments. This position requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (aerial, underground, and indoor)
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber networks as needed
• Interpret and follow fiber schematics and documentation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work
• Set up safe and organized splice locations and termination points
• Operate company vehicles and lifts safely to access splice enclosures
• Follow company procedures and safety standards at all times
Qualifications:
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods
• Visual acuity to distinguish fiber colors and excellent hand/finger dexterity
• Experience in fiber splicing preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
