
This course provides an advanced technical overview of DWDM training and optical networking concepts. One of the major issues in the networking industry today is the rapidly increasing demand for greater bandwidth. With the development of optical networks and the use of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology, a new and crucial milestone is being reached in network evolution.

This course does not require labs.
Knowledge or experience in the areas of Fiber Optic Advantages and Applications, Cables, Connectors and Terminations, Enclosures and Panels, and Test Equipment would be helpful, but is not required.

Students who cancel within a week of the start of the course will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee and onsite or custom courses will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
