\nPrecision Fiber Splicing, LLC, a locally owned and operated company, is seeking a full-time Fiber Splicer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality fiber optic construction and splicing services throughout the area.
\nPosition Overview:
\nThe Fiber Splicer will be responsible for the termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables in aerial, underground, and indoor environments. This position requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (aerial, underground, and indoor)
\n\u2022 Troubleshoot and repair fiber networks as needed
\n\u2022 Interpret and follow fiber schematics and documentation
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work
\n\u2022 Set up safe and organized splice locations and termination points
\n\u2022 Operate company vehicles and lifts safely to access splice enclosures
\n\u2022 Follow company procedures and safety standards at all times
\nQualifications:
\n\u2022 Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
\n\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license and clean driving record
\n\u2022 Ability to pass background check and drug screening
\n\u2022 Physical ability to sit, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods
\n\u2022 Visual acuity to distinguish fiber colors and excellent hand\/finger dexterity
\n\u2022 Experience in fiber splicing preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
