Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Install, maintain, and repair various types of cabling systems, including copper, fiber optic, and Ethernet cables.
\nPerform fiber splicing and copper termination, ensuring proper connectivity for network installations.
\nConduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cable installations, both copper and fiber.
\nUtilize tools such as voltmeters and cable testers to verify cable performance and ensure optimal signal quality.
\nCollaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
\nProvide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding installation processes and timelines.
\nQualifications<\/p>\n
Proven experience as a service technician or similar role in telecommunications or cable installation.
\nStrong knowledge of cabling techniques, including copper and fiber installation, network installation, and low voltage systems.
\nFamiliarity with fiber splicing methods, copper termination, and relevant equipment.
\nMechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
\nAbility to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
\nExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
