(Online) – This online course will provide students with an introduction to fiber characterization and allow students to effectively communicate and interpret issues found during testing of optical infrastructure. Students will learn about the theory behind PMD, CD and attenuation profiling, and how to interpret the results obtained during testing. TR-FCB $900.00
Exam: Fiber Characterization Basics – This exam must be passed in order to qualify for a certificate in our Fiber Characterization Basics course. This exam will consist of a combination of multiple-choice, fill in, diagram drawing, or other similar questions. More information about this specific exam will be given during the Fiber Characterization Basics lecture (either online or in person.) TE-FCB Included
