To be recognized as a professional in your field, you need to be certified. Here is a listing of Certification Exams offered through FiberOptic.com.

Exam: CFI – 50 Question Multiple Choice (TE-CFI)

This exam must be passed in order to qualify for a certificate in our Certified Fiber Optic Installer course. This exam will consist of a combination of multiple-choice, fill in, diagram drawing, or other similar questions. More information about this specific exam will be given during the Certified Fiber Optic Installer lecture (either online or in person.)


Exam: Certified Telecom Installer (TE-TEL)

This exam must be passed in order to qualify for a certificate in our Certified Telecom Installer course. This exam will consist of a combination of multiple-choice, fill in, diagram drawing, or other similar questions. More information about this specific exam will be given during the Certified Telecom Installer lecture (either online or in person.)


Exam: Premise Wiring System – ETA (TE-ETA-DCI113)

This ETA exam may accompany our Premise Wiring Installer course. ETA certifications are one of the industry standard certifications in the telecommunications industry. ETA Certified Fiber Optic Training is the only way to take one of these exams (and hence get the certificate.)


Exam: CFI – ETA FOI113 (TE-ETA-FOI113)

This ETA exam may accompany our Certified Fiber Optic Installer course. ETA certifications are one of the industry standard certifications in the telecommunications industry. ETA Certified Fiber Optic Training is the only way to take one of these exams (and hence get the certificate.)


Exam: OSP – ETA OSP113 (TE-ETA-OSP113)

This ETA exam may accompany our Outside Plant Installer course. ETA certifications are one of the industry standard certifications in the telecommunications industry. ETA Certified Fiber Optic Training is the only way to take one of these exams (and hence get the certificate.)


Exam: Fiber Characterization Basics (TE-FCB)

This exam must be passed in order to qualify for a certificate in our Fiber Characterization Basics course. This exam will consist of a combination of multiple-choice, fill in, diagram drawing, or other similar questions. More information about this specific exam will be given during the Fiber Characterization Basics lecture (either online or in person.)


Exam: Fiber Optic Fundamentals (TE-FOF)

This exam must be passed in order to qualify for a certificate in our Fiber Optic Fundamentals course.
